Outdoor
Active 360, by the Merchant Square Rolling Bridge
Work your core like you’ve never done before with Active 360. Their outdoor Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) base is located right next to the Rolling Bridge. Classes take place on Sundays 10-12 throughout the winter months. Prices start at £59 for a 2hrs, £65 for a 3hr trip per person but if you return for other lessons costs go down to £25 for 2hrs and £30 for 3hrs – costs include all SUP equipment hire, wetsuit and buoyancy aid.
Horse-Riding, 8 Bathhurst Road
Established in 1965, Ross Nye Stables in Hyde Park is the longest-established riding school to offer horse-riding in Central London. They offer lessons to both adults and children and can cater for all levels with different sizes of horse to suit. Horse riding is excellent for strengthening your core, arms and legs as well as improving balance and posture.
Serpentine Running Club, Paddington Track, Randolph Ave, Maida Vale
If running is your thing, the Serpentine Running Club has sessions on Mondays and Tuesday at the Paddington track which boasts a 6-lane synthetic track. The Monday session is for those newer to structured running, the latter is for experienced runners.
