GoBoat 2019 in numbers

GoBoat London is the only self-drive, powered boating experience in central London, and its mission is to make London's canals accessible to all. Throughout 2019 captains and crews have been exploring the Regent's and Grand Union Canals, from GoBoat's base in Merchant Square, Paddington, to Little Venice and beyond.

2019 saw 106,000 passengers cover 80,000 miles, between them getting through 8,500 picnics. Marriage proposals rose to eight this year, all accepted! Popularity with families and their pets grew, with 500 dogs joining passengers aboard GoBoat. The free, weekday Paddington Water Taxi clocked up an impressive 2,511 passengers.
