Introduction
The Grand Union BID is aiming to build the greatest concentration of community activity in London. By drawing on the innovation, knowledge, skills, ideas and energy of our BID members and our strong relationships with charities and community groups in the area, we seek to help address polarisation and inequalities in health, life expectancy, education and economic prospects in Westminster.
The ambition is to create meaningful partnerships - meaningful for companies and meaningful for charity partners, with a selection of diverse ad-hoc and long-term activities that address genuine need in the local community.
As we move forward, increasing emphasis will be placed on skilled opportunities, allowing colleagues to share their ‘expert hours’ and maintain their connection to the local area, supporting schools and colleges, jobseekers and charity partners. This will help businesses meet their Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) and social impact targets and strengthen community ties.
