Halloween Comes Alive at Merchant Square
This Halloween, Merchant Square is set to celebrate the most ghoulish time of the year with a range of thrilling activities designed to get everyone into the spooky spirit. The annual Halloween display returns with over 300 pumpkins glistening under the night sky. The display will go live on the evening of Halloween, Friday 31 October, promising an unforgettable spectacle this spooky season.
Visitors will also have the chance to put their carving skills to the test, with hundreds of pumpkins arriving at Merchant Square ready for the community to carve. The pumpkin carving competition, hosted by neighbourhood restaurant Lockhouse, will run over several days in the lead-up to Halloween. Fantastic prizes are on offer, including family tickets to The Lion King musical.
Adding to the festivities, a screening of the much-loved film Coco will take place on the Big Screen. And for the first time ever, Merchant Square will host a vibrant Day of the Dead Parade on Friday 31 October.
