Visa Volunteers Make a Difference
Over two days, 75 volunteers from the Risk and Compliance team at Visa Europe came out of the office and into the community to carry out six different activities in support of two local community centres, through The Paddington Partnership's community programme.

The team challenge began with a team of keen gardeners who took on the task of tidying the gardens at 60 Penfold Street, a community hub for older people and a residential unit for dementia patients. The refreshed space was then put straight into action with a Visa Europe-themed garden party that saw volunteers host 55 guests in the beautiful summer sunshine.

In the afternoon, additional volunteers joined their colleagues to run a bingo session for residents whilst another team redecorated an activity room at The Avenues, a local youth centre. Day two kicked off with a fantastic Genius Bar, where volunteers helped community members and residents with their technology questions.

The final activity took place at The Avenues, where a team of amateur chefs ran a cooking session for the young participants, serving up spaghetti bolognese all round.
