Subterranean Steakhouse Settles in Paddington
Offering sumptuous steaks, creative cocktails and burgers bursting with flavour; Bar + Block is the latest restaurant to make Paddington home.
The subterranean steakhouse opens its doors on Monday 7 March 2022, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in its 70-seater bar. Guests can enjoy unwinding in the comfy booth seating as they peruse the menu and choose between ribs, rumps or which relish to accompany their burger.
Carnivores should sample one of the 30-day aged marbled and tender steaks, hand-cut by the Bar + Block chefs or the must-try Mighty Block Burger, loaded with pickles, beef brisket and crispy onions. If you’re looking to treat yourself why not opt for one of the special signature dishes including the Steak Sampler, perfect for those struggling to choose.
Vegetarians and vegans are certainly not forgotten, with cauliflower wings and the Vegan Sloppy Joe Burger guaranteed to fill you up.
In a nod to their Paddington location and our favourite bear, the cocktail connoisseurs at Bar + Block have invented the ‘Marmalade Cup’ – a tantalizing combination of Sipsmith London Dry Gin, Triple Sec, bitters, grapefruit juice and of course marmalade.
