Head to Paddington Central for design inspiration this month, as the campus hosts its second Design Route as part of the annual London Design Festival.
A series of installations and talks will showcase design, architecture, interiors and lighting, both on the water and on dry land.
Adam Nathaniel Furman, born in Paddington, has created Pontoon and the Paddington Pyramid. HERE by Tangent is a 3.5m wide sculpture of planet Earth, covered in 20,480 triangular tiles of recycled solar cells. This work was originally commissioned by Hermès for their exhibition at SIHH 2019 held in Geneva, and now acts as a central focus in Sheldon Square's amphitheatre.
