We’ve teamed up with Great Western Railway to bring the best bits of Paddington together for visitors to London. A new campaign will highlight places to eat and drink, things to do and charming walks for GWR passengers from Wales, the west country and the south west.
Restaurants and Bars
Paddington is fast becoming known for its colourful collection of floating and canalside bars and restaurants. At Paddington Central the Cheese Barge, London Shell Co and Grand Duchess delight diners with their onboard specialist menus, while Darcie and May, with inside and top-deck seating, offer all day dining Aussie style.
On the towpath at Paddington Central you'll find delightful restaurants with heated terraces from which to watch the world, and boats, go by. Smith's Bar and Grill serves a British and modern-European menu while neighbours Ayllu offer traditional Peruvian flavours paired with Japanese influences.

Towpath restaurants line the canal, all with outside seating and umbrellas. Bondi Green, Paddington’s newest eatery from the Daisy Green Collection, boasts delicious Sunday roasts as well as an in-house bakery.

Food trucks Hola Guacamole, Simply Falafel and Rice Guys offer delicious Mexican, Middle Eastern and Chinese options for global food fans.

Walk this Way
Explore Paddington on foot with one of the many local walking trails.
